The imprint of time. Witness. Conversion. Uncovering.
"Time is the element in which we exist and which constantly dissolves and destroys everything, for Time is the form of the
perpetual transitoriness of all things,
and it is only through time that what we love, what is good and beautiful, acquires its value and its appeal." Arthur Schopenhauer
Material imprints Searching for material, printing and manipulating visual content. A play with shapes, lines and surfaces and colors. The moment of damaging the material, the moment of finding the templates and the moment of printing creates a new cycle and the origin is changed. By printing the template, the process of time is interrupted, documented and released for individual associations. The material loses its original function and is transformed from 3-dimensionality to 2-dimensionality, creating its own world of images that makes it difficult to recognize the origin and connection. Retrospectively, every print, every graphic is a puzzle piece from a bygone era.
